The Management and staff went the extra mile for us as we disabled couple (not wheelchair bound). Some of the staff became as family to us, and as this was our first visit to Domaine Larborde ,is was exceptional . Benny's services were 1st class. It was a sad day to say Good-Bye, but we have booked again for next year.
A fly screen door would have made life easier from the flies and mosquitoes when it was hot. The shower heads were fixed and too close to the wall to get under them, as the taps were in the way. Left a suggestion to resolve.
As disabled persons our car was our legs and the management made massive allowances, to enable us to move around within the site ,our accommodation was spacious clean and well laid out great!!!
Nicely laid-out campsite, plenty of flat, grassy areas for tents. Great swimming pool for adults, separate one of children. Lovely staff - very helpful, always smiling, and good restaurant.. Lots of towns and villages from the Middle Ages, . Need own transport as the site is a long way from anywhere. Good sineage to guide you to the site.

Everything about Domaine Laborde is fantastic, but the easy friendliness of all the staff and the welcoming atmosphere of fun and relaxation that they convey has to be the best aspect. Aside from that: long hours of the pool (until 22:00!), good-value food and house wines in the restaurant, well-spaced accommodations, top-class waterslides, outdoor chess, aviaries, walks in the well-kept site and woods, good live music, the BBQ and sauna evenings and the beauty and interest of the surrounding area. We actually ended up staying an extra night, and look forward to a third visit before too long
All the waterslides are maybe a -bit- intense for some (even the original tiny one at the pool!), we left covered with a collection of friction burns, bumps and bruises which much more elaborate waterparks had failed to give us - but equally they were the highlight of the stay for our 11-year old!
Charmingly simple, but perfect for a short stay for two adults (downstairs) and two kids (upstairs), as long as you don't mind all sharing the same space. Good fridge, kettle, coffee maker , four-burner gas hob and copious pots, pans and plates. Terrific location close to bar, pool, toilet block, with views over the woods. There's so much space around the chalet that you can move the supplied loungers around to get either sun or shade at any time of the day, and to our amazement we didn't encounter a single biting insect, despite the lack of flyscreens and us sleeping with the windows open.
Mattresses were a bit thin, there was no tea-towel supplied and the stove lighter didn't work - truly the most minor of complaints!
The weather was excellent and very hot but there were sufficient trees to provide some shade at any time of the day. The grass had been cut prior to our arrival making the site look nice and tidy and the largish plots were pretty much defined by the trees.
Large site but only one ablutions block.
New staff with apparent insufficient training.
Nice almost flat plot for our small caravan with sufficient shade
A long way for the electric hook up and for the water.

Lovely area with plenty to do. Nice views from the caravan pitches.
Having to have the electricity box unlocked for leaving & elec boxes too far apart
